  My first role at 17 I worked part-time for Essendon Golf & Country Club as a food and bar assistant, as I was still studying at college at that time. I took some time away from the duration in 2018 and came back in 2020 to focus on my studies. Here I have developed key customer service skills including serving members and working on private events. I have waited and served at many wedding ceremonies and receptions, and many other events such as parties and private functions. I learned important and valuable skills to start me off on my journey into possible future job roles. Such as working within a team and communicating with each other to transfer these skills to future employment. This was a good stepping stone for me to learn from a young age in order to keep these relevant key skills.

  I worked at Highgate Private Hospital during the summer period of 2019, while I was still studying for my degree at university. During that free time, I decided to gain more work experience that would later on benefit me in my future employment. Picking up useful skills along the way that would apply later on, with some of the practices at university too. Some examples of the tasks I would be involved in doing were to help in-patients to their room and explain to them how the room worked if they had any questions we would be happy to assist them. Meanwhile, in the out-patients, I would schedule them for their next visit to the GP if they needed to either face to face or by phone. Also, to get the folders ready for the GPs for their next set of patients arriving tomorrow and ready for the next day.
