Responsible to buy packaging material, MRO, adhesives and sealants and any type of service for the plant in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets. Ensure continuous supply of materials and communicate any supply problems, which may pose an impact on business operations. Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods. Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements. Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers. Contact suppliers (Mexico and USA) to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues. Ensure the forecast/demand and inventory levels. Responsible to elaborate and submit to the main operational and administrative employees the weekly report plant of efficiency, productivity, hours standards, overhead and production support cost.
