I am now leading a small group with 6 members to manage the testbed infrastructure. There are 3 testbed under my management. 80% of the testing servers are virtualized into VMware VM. Over 1300 servers and 300 testing clients in our testbedMy team are responsible to keep the testbed as "production like" as possible in order to increase the accuracy of the testing result. For any new project in the Jockey Club, I will be invited to evaluate the infrastructure change and test on any new product before implementation.My team also responsible for the daily operation for 2 testbed inclduing all the SOS, EOD, backup & restore, problem reporting and troubleshooting.I also have the experience to work oversea in Taiwan and Beijing for the setup of a nationwide betting systems. I coordinated with vendors for all the server installation, storage, backup solution, job scheduling software.etc. For project in HK, since our testbeds have over 1500 machines and the environment is so dynamic, every year we have large infrastruce upgrade and I am now working on the SAN Storage revamp and the extension of the citrix access to other testing environment.Vendors are closely worked for different solution:Servers: HP, vmwareBackup solution: HP Data Protector, Veeam, EMC, Symantec NetbackupOperation: BMC, MicrosoftStorage, HP EVA, EMC DMX Show less
