I worked with Karl for two years during my time as a HSE inspector in the UK as part of the FMU97 group based at Manchester. I found Karl to be a very approachable person that often put aside his own work duties to aid fellow inspectors and other stakeholders. Karl's experience as a construction site manager and knowledge of legislation meant that he always made informed/correct decisions when engaging with duty holders on site. Karl always acted in a professional manner and his interpersonal skills allowed him to consult and communicate with resistant duty holders effectively. Karl always enjoyed sharing knowldge and information with fellow inspectors and especially with duty holders to ensure that they complied with workplace health and safety legislation.
