Responsibilities & contributions include: • All aspects of the SDLC from product specifications to verification and validation • Documentation for and registration of patents • Recruitment of technical staff to grow the project team • Obtaining IS013485 certification • Dealing with consulting Anaesthetists and external companies • Clinical trials and verification at the Sydney Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre. More recently (2011) I consulted on the next version of Ulco’s perfusion simulation system called “Orpheus”. A computer controlled hydraulic model of the human circulatory system, it is intended for training Perfusionists in the procedure of cardio-pulmonary bypass during heart surgery. Show less
