      My main focus as Production Engineer is structural and continuous improvement both for production and qualification of the systems in the factory as well as for the installations at customer site. I also support during escalations when systems are blocked from progress a greater amount of time.

      As a First Line Support engineer at ASML I am giving technical support to the production and customer installation teams of the TWINSCAN NXE Lithography Systems. On a technical level my function is focused on supporting the production and installation sequence of the high-power laser optical system that amplifies and focuses the laser to hit tin droplets in order to generate EUV light by tin vaporization. This means supporting and troubleshooting the optical alignment as well as the amplification and metrology system to ensure the laser beam has the right properties when reaching the tin droplets. Being first line support also means I become owner of the technical issues and escalations when a system is blocked from progress, meaning I take the lead and become the central party amongst all stakeholders. Coordinating escalations is therefore a central part of my job.The position has given me good and hands-on knowledge within: · Laser optics and laser metrology· Being in the lead and coordinate escalations for systems being blocked from progress in production or during customer installation· Troubleshooting under pressure
