  Export Trading Group is a multinational organisation with a diverse portfolio of expertise across multiple industries. Having worked in the Agricultural commodities trading division, my role was as a Market risk analyst. The role was divided across two spheres, firstly to compile real-time market positions of the trading team, to further analyse positions against trading metrics. Secondly, to develop risk models and business systems for the organisation as it transitioned from a small to medium sized enterprise. Focal Areas: • Analysis of Traders position, using market & position data, utilizing Risk metrics such as VaR (Value at Risk) to determine whether trading mandates are being strictly adhered. • Daily Profit/Loss Reporting on portfolios comprising of derivatives, FX, Physical Cash Trades, OTCs, and other exotic trading instruments. • Stakeholder management – liaising with no fewer than 7 agricultural Trading desks world-wide • Part of the project management team to implement the CTRM database system being utilized company wide. • Systems process automation – built the daily processes that the entire Risk department uses from Automated Position Reconciliation, P&L Reporting Dashboards, Treasury analysis tools and uploader tools, using Excel VBA and CTRM. A member of the social engagement committee in which I have assisted in planning, organising and budgeting for company events such as the Year-end functions, Town-Hall meetings and other conferences held at the company.
