They need assistance in our warehouse getting essential items organized, counted and ready to distribute. This fill a valuable void for us during summer months. It prevents children from receiving less product due to us having fewer volunteers. Warehouse Warriors: This position helps inventory, organize and stock incoming donations. The more items we have inventoried, sorted, and stocked the more children we can assist. This position will also assist with data entry and program evaluation. Play Date and Educational Assistants: Helping Mamas provides play dates to our partner agencies and safe sleep/car seat safety training. At play date events children and families are taught the importance of play and bonding. At Safe Sleep and Car Seat Trainings parents learn the importance of safe sleep and car seat installation. They are able to bring their children to the training. The summer associates would be assisting with preparing class materials and working with children during the education and play dates.
