For three summers in a row I worked with the City of Vista as a camp counselor to foster healthy and recreational environments for children, from ages 3 to 17. In this role I was able to work with large groups of children and create activities for their enjoyment. I also further developed my communication skills in order to address adults, parents, and large groups of children throughout the course of a day. I led two classes a week and worked in areas of creative writing, lower-level math education, sport activities, and relationship building.
