I had the pleasure of working with Karina over a three-month period in the summer of 2016. (During that time, I assisted with the rebranding at Dean Health Plan.) Though she was just back from maternity leave when I joined the team, Karina never seemed overwhelmed. She greets every challenge with a smile and the determination to push through. The fact that she works full-time with a baby at home and still finds time to work on completing her bachelor’s degree is testament to the fact that Karina never stops. In addition to leading the marketing and communication team meetings, Karina takes care of countless details and organizational tasks for the department.
