Past President/President/Vice President, Board of Directors
-
Oct 2017 - Present
The Point Lobos Foundation (PLF) supports the Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, considered the crown jewel of California’s 280 State Parks. Since 2017, I have served in multiple capacities: oversight of a governance board, Executive Director, 12 Directors, 5 committees, 2 task forces, budget, annual operating plan and E-commerce; developed new Director onboarding program; co-led development/implementation of a 5-year Strategic Plan; facilitated board-driven fund development & retreat; established Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility Task Force in June 2020 which includes collaboration with local black, indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) community leaders. It is truly an honor to serve my community through the efforts of the Point Lobos Foundation.

Partnership Program Manager, Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Program
-
Nov 2011 - Aug 2020
Working with ~200 Seafood Watch Conservation Partners, I managed and engaged partners to promote and procure sustainable, or ocean-friendly, seafood. Conservation Partners are zoos, aquariums, science museums, nature centers or any mission-aligned organization interested in ocean conservation through sustainable seafood outreach and sourcing. My goal on a daily basis was to meet partners where they are and set them up to achieve success. These partnerships represent a win-win-WIN...the final win for the ocean!

Corporate Relations Coordinator & Penguin Outreach Program
-
1999 - 2000
Working alongside the Aquarium's Membership and Development departments, I recruited local businesses to join the Corporate Membership Program. A benefit of this program was the penguin outreach program which I thoroughly enjoyed delivering offsite within a 1-hour radius of the Aquarium. Prior to this role, I worked as a telemarketer for their Annual Fund within the same division.
