CLIENTS LIST DIAGON LTD MX3D I worked with the CEO and management team to identify new sales leads and customer segments within the design, art, and architecture fields. METAL WORKS LONDON I worked alongside the CEO to develop new pricing strategies and models, and introduced 3D fabrication drawings and details. Initially conceived as a Design & Strategy Studio, IZEM quickly developed into a Design & Fabrication company, and became a leader in this field in the Middle East. With a staff reaching 40 professionals & technicians, a fully equipped wood & metal fabrication shop with metal CNC machines, a comprehensive Digital Fabrication Lab, and an advanced surface finishing process, the studio was servicing contractors, architects, interior architects, furniture & product designers, artists, and sculptors. Modeled after SCI-Arc’s Fabrication Shop and the Fablab concept, IFB was a 3000 m2 factory that provided designers, engineers and makers with access to state of the art machines and tools through its partner IZEM, as well as co-working and event spaces where fabrication workshops, Tech Demos, and public talks were regularly organized. Public Interest Design Levant (PID) is a human-centered non-profit non-governmental organization that works with networks of stakeholders to develop communities. The NGO was founded as a result of two theses merging, bringing together Strategic Thinking and System Design. Over 4 years, it organized workshops, events, and activations within the design, industrial, and urban clusters aiming to positively impact the city, its neighborhoods, and inhabitants. Some of its most notable initiatives were the DPU Summer Lab (2014), In Good Spirit (2015-2016), and the Cluster Development Initiative (2016).

Digital Fabrication Consultant @ Mongolia Makers Week

The World Bank initiated a project in Ulaanbaatar to support and accelerate the growth of the Maker Movement in Mongolia. Three experts from Fablab Lisboa, MIT, and IZEM spent an entire week engaging with various stakeholders, starting from government agencies and vice mayor of UB city ending with students, professors and private sector representatives (largest corporation MCS), igniting their interest, bringing them together and kick-starting the Makers movement.
