The San Pedro Café is a bustling restaurant in the heart of Hudson, WI. It is a well known restaurant that attracts people from many surrounding areas. -I thrive in the fast paced environment and work well under pressure -I am able to multitask, ensuring that each customer receives exceptional customer service in a timely manner -Throughout each shift, I clean/organize, restock supplies, and assist coworkers if/when they need help -My authentic and outgoing personality as well as my knowledge of menu items work together to increase sales and sell featured items -Serving has taught me how to adapt to multiple stressors and work with many different types of people -I am on my feet for long hours -I have developed strong communication skills, professionalism, persistence, and I've learned many ways to resolve conflict Show less

Rehab Clinic Assistant

As a Rehab Clinic Assistant at TRIA, I perform a variety of clerical and clinical tasks that assist the rehab team in providing outstanding patient care. In this role, I am able to utilize my Bachelor's of Science in Health and Human Performance, expand my medical terminology, and observe/learn from an amazing group of therapists. -I interact with patients in a manner that enhances their overall experience -I exhibit strong verbal communication skills with both the patient and therapist -I am able to actively listen, work independently, and problem solve -When working with a patient, I am often scheduling through EPIC, handling insurance, or assisting with treatment support (i.e. Game Ready machines, cervical traction units, TENS, NMES, and iontophoresis) -I practice patient confidentiality -Due to COVID-19 I do a great deal of cleaning and organizing -I have become extremely flexible and adaptive This role has reassured me that I am on the right path. Rehab Aide

As a rehab aide for M Health Fairview, I assist with inpatient care under the direction and supervision of a therapist. This role is extremely hands-on and requires a lot of attention to detail. I have been lucky enough to learn from and observe many different therapists. Working in a hospital during a global pandemic has taught me resilience and grit. -I take pride in my bedside manner, empathy, and communication skills -As a second set of hands, I make sure that not only the patient is safe, but also the therapist and myself -I take note of a patient's precautions and/or restrictions prior to entering a room to ensure a smooth therapy session -I am familiar/comfortable with orthosis, safe patient handling equipment, blood pressure cuffs/oximeters, and assisting nurses with dressing changes/soiled linens -When not working directly with a patient, I make sure the rehab space is clean and organized -I issue durable medical equipment (DME), and often call Fairview Home Medical to restock our supplies -I navigate EPIC, handling inpatient scheduling Show less
