HealthHelp was initially under private equity ownership and later acquired by WNS, a publicly traded Mumbai-based company in 2017. The company is a leading medical cost management partner that collaborates with health plan leaders/providers to improve care and realize sustained cost savings. Brought in at a critical inflection point 1.5 years following acquisition to drive high-scale growth, I took the helm in leading 980+ employees in the U.S. and Philippines. Key to my charge was to transition the company from a founder-led, private equity-backed company into a growing business unit of a publicly traded global company to achieve notable Revenue and EBITDA CAGR growth. During this time, I transformed infrastructure, governance, operations, and growth strategy needed to enter the next stage of growth. Show less

Magellan Health Services (acquired by Centene) ranked #390 on the Fortune 500 and was in a bankruptcy filing when I initially joined in 2003. To fuel growth, in 2006, they acquired National Imaging Associates, Inc. (NIA), a privately held radiology benefits management company. As Chief Product Officer for NIA (later rolled under the newly formed Magellan Healthcare business following restructuring), I actualized Magellan’s bold vision to become a leader in Specialty Healthcare by leading product strategy and working collaboratively within the executive team to drive strategy, execution, and growth. This was an exciting time, as we grew the newly acquired NIA business by 16.2X in annual revenue while expanding the portfolio from 1 product (Diagnostic Imaging) sold as an ASO-funding arrangement to 8 products with different funding arrangements (e.g., ASO, capitation, risk sharing arrangements), with products rich in features, both standard and buy ups. Promoted 2X in 7 years, I was asked to concurrently take back management of the Behavioral Health Management business, where I scaled the team of 30 associates, with responsibility for the medical specialty and behavioral health product P&Ls. Within 1 year I was promoted to SVP to take on a leadership role in driving our product vision following Magellan’s acquisition of NIA. I differentiated the ASO and capitated imaging products, and added products in cardiology, radiation oncology, and musculoskeletal, among others with unique consumer engagement and site of service features. I joined at a unique inflection point, as Magellan Behavioral Health was in the midst of a corporate restructuring. Initially retained in a finance capacity to drive operational profitability for the Behavioral Health business, my role quickly evolved to include product redesign and management. I also led a data mining team to strengthen our outreach efforts. Within four years, I had delivered substantial cost savings by standardizing protocols across 10+ locations dispersed across the U.S., evaluating projects for profitability and scale and codifying/cataloguing our services into a suite of products and features. It was during this time that I had the opportunity to lead the development of a Predictive Model and Member Engagement product, designed to reduce the number of hospitalizations for at-risk members via better behavior health management. Cigna Health Services is a multinational managed healthcare and insurance company. During this time, I was the Chief of Staff to the President of the Medical Specialty businesses, where I worked closely with the CEOs on creation of growth strategies. I led the strategic planning process for several of CIGNA’s specialty healthcare companies and managed all financial reporting and planning for all specialty healthcare operations. My role also involved monitoring key drivers of earnings for risks and opportunities, as well as key initiatives, to enable profitable growth. As part of my role, I created financial communications for key constituencies, including equity analysts, debt rating agencies, and the CIGNA Board of Directors. Show less
