I worked under Kari Porter’s leadership for close to the entire extent of my job experience working at the Eugene Family YMCA. Throughout my service as a Membership Representative of the Eugene YMCA, Kari delegated jobs and tasks to my co-workers and I, in such an exceptional manner that it made our work establishment a friendly and interactive environment that we could all look forward to coming into. Kari Porter has outstanding communication skills and is an extremely organized person. Kari was always open to accepting advice on how to improve work conditions and took all inquiries to heart; she always made it known that my co-workers and I could come to talk to her about anything, at any time. I look up to Kari’s ability to balance a variety of heavy-weighing responsibilities and pressures and yet despite all, continue to show up to work every morning with a beaming smile and an attitude that could brighten anyone’s day.
