As my lead Product Manager, Karen differentiated herself in her strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership and interpersonal skills. Karen is results-oriented, works well under pressure and regularly earned praise from her cross-functional counterparts for both the quality of her work and the confidence and trust they had in her ability to represent their perspective and interests. I'd be delighted to have Karen on my team again.

Karen is undoubtedly one of the best Product Manager that I have worked with so far. She has consistently proven herself an expert in Product planning, researches the market well, and is open to suggesting trade-offs where needed. She is a great strategist and ensures the vision is delivered in the Product. She has always provided timely responses to engineering , be it to clarify scope or to prioritize bugs, to ensure a quality product is delivered on time. Overall a great collaborator, negotiator and strategist who guides products to be created based on a market need, not because someone thinks it is a good idea. Would love to work with her again if opportunity comes.

After a couple of years leading product, I was asked to build a customer marketing team focused on product adoption, upsell and retention. We developed global customer marketing initiatives, managed customer references, case studies, customer events, and advocacy programs.

I joined Marin Software as Director of Product Management pre-IPO and led a team of four product managers. We defined the product strategy and roadmap, and oversaw the execution for the company’s flagship product. It was great to move back to an enterprise SaaS company and I loved helping large companies scale their online advertising successfully.

Led product planning for the first coordinated release of the Flip video product across desktop, web, and mobile applications. Joining the Flip team at Cisco was my first foray into the connected device market. At this time Flip videos were the #1 video content shared on social media and I was hired to build out the collaboration and privacy features. Joined Macromedia as a Senior Product Manager for Connect, an enterprise SaaS web conferencing product. When Macromedia was acquired by Adobe in 2005 I was selected to work on the new initiative to help Adobe move into the cloud. We integrated Connect with Adobe’s Creative Suite and Acrobat PDF products and created upsell packages for mid-market and enterprise customers. Spent six years at Intuit as a product manager for the flagship Quicken product, and Quicken.com, the first online personal finance portal. Intuit was a great place to start my product management career and gave me a strong foundation in understanding and solving customer needs. We worked every day to delight customers by turning their unmet needs into great products.
