As an AmeriCorps volunteer with the Christian Appalachian Project, I worked full-time as an in-home and class instructor for the School on Wheels program. As the sole instructor for the agency in Garrard County, Kentucky, I was responsible for all TABE assessments, lesson planning, instruction, and paperwork for the county site.
