Led Detroit Regional Workforce Fund investments that supported wealth building through the skilling up of local talent to and connecting that talent to employers. Raised, managed, granted over $6.5 Million. Portfolio included the creation of pre apprenticeship Readiness Training and creation of the first skilled trades-philanthropy collaboration, Access for All adult training for the construction trades, now a part of Detroit's public workforce system. Concurrently led United Way for Southeastern Michigan's Economic Opportunity portfolio which included all family asset-building activities targeting Metro Detroit families needing support. Oversaw over $7M in grant-making to non-profits serving residents in the City of Detroit, Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.
