  As part of my technology certification through Western Kentucky University, I designed instruction for middle school students that met Kentucky Common Core Standards in Social Studies. During the Fall Term of 2014, I was required to implement the instructional design with a group of students, assess their learning, and submit their technology product as my final class project. This project was carried out with a group of Talented and Gifted Students at West Middle School and the country they chose was North Korea.   Originally licensed as a practicing dental hygienist in Kentucky and the first practicing hygienist for Mortenson Family Dental in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Continued practice after relocating to the Denver, Colorado area and then Albuquerque, New Mexico. Duties included the review of the patient medical history and performing procedures as authorized by licensure such as periodontal exam, radiographs, then oral prophylaxis or periodontal therapies.
