Free program services include: workforce development/employment counseling, free tax preparation, financial and credit coaching/counseling, financial literacy education, Individual Development Account (IDA) savings incentive programs, and other asset building services, Under my leadership the Center has successfully implemented and operates an innovative Employer-based Financial Wellness program with medium to large employers in Greater Milwaukee. Additionally, I've developed strategic collaborations with organizations including: Housing Resources Inc., Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative, and Ways to Work to address service gaps while preventing duplication of services. As a result of the Center's excellent performance over the last 8 years, I was able to obtain a ten-year funding commitment from the United Way and three-year commitment from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. Additionally, I have written grants obtaining Federal and IRS funding and funding from other foundations.
