As the Government's most senior allied health professions advisor, I provide or access clinical advice about the 12 allied health professions to inform ministers and executives of DH; I provide strategic leadership for the 85,000 AHPs working in the NHS alone and in other sectors; I work in partnership with key stakeholders such as the professional bodies and Royal Colleges to deliver on the Government agenda for reform.
