As an Education Interpreter I work with school groups delivering over twenty trained programs, in addition to training others on these programs. In addition to working with school groups, I am a costumed interpreter that works in five different historical houses, and an 1860s tin shop and print shop. I am also on the Joint Health and Safety Board as a Worker Representative. I worked in the ‘Legends of the Silk Road’ exhibit where I communicated the major themes of the exhibit to the public. I conducted research that allowed me to create an online database/archive of all artefacts owned by the Park. Then I created a summary of importance for each object that was kept at the front desk. This allowed Rangers to quickly access information to answer customer's questions. This archive included all texts and photographs within the museum as well.
