Mission: To Grow Confident and Courageous Leaders Through Influential Role ModelsWe develop leadership and coaching skills in college students, who then guide 9th graders, equipping them with strong interpersonal and life skills. In turn, these teens can better handle the social and academic challenges they face, while these teens and their mentors become influencers among their peers and in their community. Our Goals for Our Youth:1. To develop personal leadership skills, allowing them to reach their fullest potential in life.2. To prevent depression/anxiety, self-harm, addiction, bullying, violence, and suicide. 3. To provide teachers and staff members necessary social/emotional support for their students, giving them more time to focus on core curriculum, while continuing to bring positive change to the school culture.4. To provide parents and caretakers relevant resources, a strong support system, and effective communication tools to lead their teens during these critical years.5. To create a stronger, more connected and supportive community.

I had an amazing career as an educator in Poway Unified School District. The support from the families of students in my class over the years was truly the best. As a professional, I grew immensely through the guidance of strong leaders. They always pushed me to take risks and brought out my love of innovation. We were the first 3rd grade class in the district to implement 1-to-1 iPads and it changed all of our lives. It was then that I realized the impact teachers can have if they "let go and empower students to lead the way." My love of writing, science, and student leadership is what gave me the extreme desire to retire early and start a non-profit, designed to empower students to influence others.
