      The nature of my job is to be a jack of all trades, working for and substituting for over 10 different job descriptions. From delivery driver, to cook to coffee shop supervisor, there is no food-service position I have not worked at Michigan Tech. Primarily, my work was in the kitchen preparing and cooking food for catering and MTU's food court operations. I also work as a caterer, supervising student teams through delivery, set-up, and clean-up of events scaling from ten to over 1000 guests. I also work in the university food court and the satellite shops on campus, supervising at the deli, grill, pizza or stir-fry stations any given day of the week. The satellite shops I've managed included two Starbucks, a smoothie shop, and concessions for sporting events. My responsibilities are to ensure the quality of service and food preparation, focusing on sanitation and presentation.
