NSW Head Office, Bankstown. I absolutely loved and enjoyed this job ~ I was responsible for several major accounts and ran a merchandising team of 12 women. The breadth of my engagement with the customer, the manufacturing process, the stores, tradeshows, reps and senior management made for an exciting opportunity to excel at sales. As an Account Manager, I thrived in the autonomy of running my own business and profit centre. I needed to be an excellent communicator, negotiator, time-manager and problem solver. And this role suited me as it no longer was a job but a love of looking after my clients and accounts. Show less

This position was valuable as a foundation for my career as it involved attention to detail and the development of foundational accounting and corporate skills. During this period I had exposure to a diverse client base, including Coles, Barclays Bank, Fenner Metals and Burns Phillip. Despite being a junior member of the team this experience gave me a solid overview of corporate structure and accounting.
