I had the pleasure of working with Karen for almost 2 years. During this time she demonstrated professionalism and a high level of understanding of the children's services industry. I was able to rely on her knowledge and expertise and in addition witnessed her amazing work ethic first hand when we worked together through a critical incident that spanned an entire weekend and a further two week period to fully resolve. Karen is highly committed to standards of excellence and is someone I feel privileged to have worked with on a range of projects from tenders to the opening of new centres.

Within my new role my focus is to support and develop quality in children’s services, working alongside our OSHC services and to assist with specialised children’s programs within YMCA Recreation Centres. My role has a strong link into the implementation of My Time, Our Place Educational Framework within OOSH services plus advocacy work within the middle childhood years for all Australian children.
