  •Serves as the liaison between Statewide Campus (SWC) site and the Office of Predoctoral Clinical Education, WVSOM and clinical faculty, directors of medical education, and clinical teaching sites. •Keeps the Office of Predoctoral Clinical Education and the SWC Regional Asst. Dean informed of students' performance and issues that may hinder that performance. •Creates rotation schedules; advise, assist and counsel students regarding years 3 and 4 clinical rotations inclusive of requirements and policies/procedures that govern these years. •Advises and direct students regarding intern and residency application/interview processes. •Collaborates with Associate Dean for Postdoctoral Clinical Education to promote student understanding of postgraduate programs. •Monitors students’ progress and collaborate with the SWC Regional Asst. Dean regarding possible solutions for any concerns. •Ensures that every SWC student meets graduation requirements. •In collaboration with the SWC Regional Dean, recruits new clinical faculty and training locations. Educates clinical faculty about WVSOM and the SWC program. •Reviews evaluations of faculty and programs, and (along with the Regional Asst. Dean) develops and implements an appropriate plan of action in response to any deficiencies. Coordinates reporting of CME for all clinical faculty. Coordinate honoraria and reimbursement of funds for all clinical education activities. •Provides leadership to the SWC Administrative Assistant •Works cooperatively with other SWC sites and with the Dept. of Predoctoral Clinical Education to improve existing programs and to develop and evaluate new programs •Develops, implement, and evaluate programs and materials that support the years three and four clinical educational experiences. •Educates prospective students about osteopathic medicine and WVSOM through one-on-one interviews, the coordination of regularly scheduled events, shadowing experiences, and facilitating physician mentoring.
