I first met Karen years ago when we both worked in Russia back in the early 1990's. She was an inquisitive pioneer then and has remained so throughout her career. We also worked together in Price Waterhouse in the mid 1990's as professionals helping to develop Russia's emerging financial markets. She was always positive and proactive in solving and problems cropping up as we progressed in really groundbreaking work. Over the years we've kept in regular contact and she has been instrumental in keeping our alumni connected and encouraging regular interaction and sharing experience. It's always a pleasure knowing and working with Karen.
