I loved this job! I worked at two elementary schools and taught general music. In addition, I had show choirs at each school, a handbell choir, created my keyboard class, and produced plays at each school yearly. I worked with PTO, parents, teachers, administrators, and district personnel. I am also a professional musician, so accompanied jr. high and high school choirs as needed. I incorporated TEKS from other subjects into my classes, so students worked across curriculums to support core learning.
