As the only HR representative for Canada, I managed all aspects of HR at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Toronto. This includes but is not limited to policy development, process improvement, large-scale project implementations, health & safety, employment law, training and development, full-cycle recruitment, succession planning, coaching and mentoring, employee relations and engagement, performance management, investigations, payroll processing, report analysis, and compensation & benefits.A key achievement includes successfully raising the employee engagement score up 11% in 2018, receiving one of five global awards for employee engagement from Group Human Resources in Poole, England. Another achievement includes implementing Ceridian Dayforce and championing the learning & development implementation of Cornerstone People Portal to streamline and optimize the efficiency of compensation and benefits, recruitment, and learning and development practices across all Midway North America sites.
