Standardized shipments and reduced the number of containers arriving on the island each week saving the company approximately $10,000 per month by working closely with the purchasing manager. Reduced international shipments and purchased more local items saving the company sea freight as well as customs import fees and built a solid relationship with local businesses by working directly with them and the customs broker Trained all department heads to submit information timely so that monthly financial statements and related reports for the resort and the island could be completed within the first six days of the following month. Disbursed cash for yearly capital expenditure plans in excess of $2 million each year. Established proper procedures and prices for billing homeowners of private villas on the island.
