  My job is to connect Calgary Christian School to its alumni. I want to make sure that alumni are in the loop with the exciting things going on at the school AND vice versa. I facilitate communication with alumni using newsletters, Facebook updates, invitations to big school events, etc. On the other hand, I help connect alumni as mentors to current students, provide opportunities for alumni to give back to the school by participating in fundraising, returning as a special guest teacher, performer or speaker or in a business capacity.   My love for “moment-capturing” photography began as a young teenager, when I started to realize that I was growing up so fast and the exciting times and beautiful friends in my life were not being tangibly recorded. The hobby continued after I graduated from high school, got married and had children, and over the past few years, it has blossomed into more than just a pastime. I want to now share my passion for photography with others. I have recently earned my Photography Certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. I love learning new things about photography, putting them into practice and I just love being behind the lens! My style is straightforward – while I appreciate the digital arts, I’d rather capture moments exactly the way we want to remember them – simple, untouched, real.   I answered phones, booked appointments and greeted patients. I reminded patients of existing appointments and necessary treatment using the phone and mail. I was responsible for record-keeping, organizing, filing, and other clerical duties. I helped manage the schedule for 5-6 dental hygienists and 4 full time dentists daily.
