Work is currently underway to design an innovative legal and financial model that will utilise both funding from social impact investors and private equity from the owner occupiers. Other key objectives include: • Creation of a cohousing project with 20 - 30 individually owned or rented self- contained residences plus shared spaces • Situated in an urban setting with close proximity to amenity and public transport • Shared facilities may include: community kitchen & dining area, laundry, games/TV room, workshops, and vegetable gardens.

Identification of opportunities for implementation of state and federal government sustainability policy within a commercial project context. She was key in the co-creation of an urban development design tool together with large scale commercial property developers, to enable a comprehensive approach to designing large scale sustainable property development projects. The tool covered the following areas. The sole environmental consultant working for one of Australia's most active urban sustainability crusaders, Michael Mobbs. Front person of the demonstration project 'Sydney's Sustainable House', by leading tours and directly interacting with the general public to raise the awareness of urban sustainability and the practical steps to achieve this for the ordinary person. Design consultant for a range of environmentally focused building projects, ranging from a modular house design, that achieved high levels of thermal energy efficiency designed in conjunction with plug in energy and water systems, that would be attractive and price competitive in standard housing market. Worked closely with building industry representatives and the Office of the State Government Architect to come up with the brief for the Houses of the Future competition. The brief was to show case the benefits of sustainable building design, environmental innovation and design excellence, by teaming up esteemed architects with industry representatives.
