Three months later, I was hired on as the Human Resource Administrator. During the first year, I implemented a scanning program for keeping employee's files electronically, increased the amount of employee data tracked electronically in Fernco's HRIS system, and worked with department supervisors and managers to improve communications between our departments. The next few years involved taking on increased responsibility of the HRIS system including the implementation of a new payroll and benefit system, streamlining HR processes by reducing paperwork, and taking on more Selection and Hiring duties resulting in a promotion to Human Resource Generalist in 2005. After a Company reorganization in the Spring of 2009, I was promoted to Human Resource Manager. I have continued to grow as a person and a professional, working every day to meet the needs and expectations of my internal customers (my current employees) as well as those of my external customers (potential employees, vendors, and former employees).
