I recommend Karen for your learning, OD, and change leadership needs without reservation. Karen brings her creative energy, mission focus, and superb project management skills to every project. She has a talent for bringing people together to define their vision and work in concert to realize their goals. Karen also has a gift for operating on multiple levels--shee grasps both the big picture AND the essential details. Karen lives her values and creates space for others to contribute their best, especially during times of stress and change. I chose her as often as possible to serve on my project teams and to be my behind-the-scenes thinking partner.

I worked with Karen at Genesys. She was great to work with -- she had a vision of what she wanted to do with her department and made it happen. She had a great reputation and lived up to that reputation.

Chaired the design team to create a concept and design the academic program for a dually certified para-professional with Physical Therapist, Assistant and Occupational Therapy Assistant credentials. The design team was comprised of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Mott College faculty and local hospital administrators. The program was designed as a joint first year for prerequisite courses and the second year was designed for the professional curriculum. The program was and is dually accredited by both the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. I remained the board chair for the following 8 years and am a member of the board today.
