Integrated nursing and physician education and modified programs to meet needs of each organization. - Led the integration of Continuing Medical Education and Surgery Training Services administration into GLI program, reduced costs by 25%, expanded scope, aligned programs and services and, improved physician satisfaction. - Implemented system to ensure 100% compliance in meeting required annual health and safety and corporate compliance training each year for an organization of 4000 employees. - Wrote and awarded $4.1 million in grants to support nursing pipeline in local community. This ultimately supported rent for the GLI for two years and was used to renovate a medical clinic. - Saved organization $50,000; played a key role on development team for an Ascension-wide Association Engagement tool and process, allowing health system to serve as pilot site, waiving the survey fee. - Served as design team member of Ascension Health Learning Advisory Committee. Developed framework for curriculum development, content management, talent management, grant opportunities, and competency development. - Designed, “Managing the Multi-Cultural Workforce” curriculum to support career development strategies of the Greater Flint Healthcare Coalition. This curriculum was implemented at all three hospitals in Flint, and due to its success, was used at hospitals across the state.

Chaired the design team to create a concept and design the academic program for a dually certified para-professional with Physical Therapist, Assistant and Occupational Therapy Assistant credentials. The design team was comprised of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Mott College faculty and local hospital administrators. The program was designed as a joint first year for prerequisite courses and the second year was designed for the professional curriculum. The program was and is dually accredited by both the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. I remained the board chair for the following 8 years and am a member of the board today.
