Bio
Crystal M. Hayes, Ph.D., M.S.W.
Dr. Bullock works harder than anyone I know. When we're all sleep, she's working. I don't know how she does it. She has well over 20 years of experience and her work ethic is unmatched, but what's really impressive about Dr. Bullock is her genuine commitment to empowering others to achieve their goals. Dr. Bullock demands excellence from everyone around her, and she models it in her own work, but what really separates Dr. Bullock from all others is her generous spirit and willingness to provide those around her with the tools that they need to succeed. I am honored to work under Dr. Bullock's leadership. Under her leadership, she has transformed our department into a place where there's a real sense of shared community and transparency. All of these qualities combined, make Dr. Bullock an invaluable leader in our department and I know that she will continue to guide our department into a very special place where learning, collaboration, social justice, and leadership development are the core values that shape everything we do. She's only just begun. As I prepare to leave the department to start my own doctoral studies, I will always consider Dr. Bullock a trusted advisor and friend. NC State is lucky to have her leadership and I am grateful I had the opportunity to work with her.
