  At Leman International School, I am using the English National Curriculum alongside the International Primary Curriculum to create a holistic learning environment, which challenges all students with different abilities and backgrounds. To allow this to occur, my classes are differentiated to meet the needs of individual students instead of the cohort of students in my class. Furthermore, my lessons are planned and executed, allowing students to use their creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and technological skills.   At Bard International Academy Chengdu, my job as Academic Director was to work with the PYP and MYP coordinators to help with authorizing the school as an I.B World School. I would set the agenda and lead pedagogical leadership meetings looking at how to drive the school forward with academic excellence. Also, I would create whole school action plans and allocate academic budgets to the different departments. In addition to this role, I was also the grade 5 homeroom teacher and would use inquiry as the focal point of my teaching practice.
