As a captioner, I was required to type and sync text to videos using a program called Quill. I had to use a specific style guide, correct spelling and grammar, and accurate sentence structure with each project. As a rookie, the videos projects ranged anywhere from one minute to thirty minutes and came with a strict completion time. As a seasonal employee, I spent my time running the cash register, making sure the shelves were neat and stalked, and helping students locate specific textbooks. I was hired on as a temporary worker to help Legacy complete a huge order they had to fill within a set deadline. The job included sorting through the materials to find the misprinted items, replacing the misprints with the correct prints, and shrink wrapping the materials back together again.
