It’s rare that you come across standout talent like Kara Smith. I’ve had the pleasure of being associated with Kara for the past six years. We first met in the Colorado Agricultural Leadership Program, and I was immediately impressed with not only her credentials, but her work ethic, deep knowledge of and passion for her industry, and determination to create value in whatever space she is involved in. She quickly understands what her client’s needs are, and immediately goes to work to tailor an approach that creates real return on investment for that client. These skills have built her into a powerhouse in the beef production and marketing space. Kara will be an asset to any team, particularly as a leader in both thought and vision, as well as leading operations to move the company or client’s mission forward. I highly recommend Kara in any role offered, particularly in leadership and freelance consulting opportunities.

Kara is an outstanding individual to work with, and I’ve been most fortunate to have the opportunity to work with her on both a professional and personal level. She is keen at communication and reading a diverse group in order to connect and share her passion for the agricultural industry. I’ve not met a more hard-working, down-to-earth individual who can step forward and lead any group she encounters and engage in their passions and goals as well and tie that into business, leadership, sales, marketing, and industry across the board. She’s always gone above and beyond for her clients and community, and I enjoy watching her take on new challenges and roles as she always strives to perform at the highest level. She’s truly a person who sets and achieves any goal and surpasses any obstacle. I am ever grateful for her knowledge within the animal health industry and her passion to help educate the industry and assist veterinarians. She has led many continuing education courses and workshops and has always created a stellar education and engaging program, and my producer clients cannot praise her enough for all of her efforts to ensure they received product and had the information they needed for optimal animal health. Kara is one who wears many hats, and she does it extremely well. I recommend engaging with her and making her part of your team and network as she is an invaluable asset!
