  Works as an integral part of the Officer Strength Management team at State Headquarters for the Colorado Army National Guard. Coordinates on a daily basis with representatives from 54 Guard teams throughout National Guard States and Territories as well as with the National Guard Bureau in Washington, DC. Recruits and processes new and transitioning Officers from all Basic Branches into the Colorado Army National Guard. Responsible for assembling, completing and reviewing applications, packets and documents that will be reviewed and approved at the National level. Projects Officer Strength and manning levels at 3, 5 and 10 year intervals for the Colorado Army National Guard. Commissioned as a United States Army Officer through Federal Officer Candidate School. Developed leadership skills, resiliency and worked as part of a team. Overcame intense physical and mental challenges including field exercises and Officer Leadership Courses. Graduated at the top of the class from The Soldier Support Institute’s Human Resources certification course. Currently manages 5 Soldiers on a Human Resources team responsible for maintaining personnel readiness for a Battalion of 140 plus Service Members. Develops and projects training plans and schedules. Current Secret Security Clearance.
