I had met Ms Kanti Joshi, towards early 2014, when I was looking for a legal expert in workplace harassment (especially sexual harassment) management. We were in the initial stage of setting up a "Fairness at Workplace" policy and committee, during this time. It was Ms. Kanti's knowledge, expertise and guidance that helped us set up the team and its functioning at NH, in the most effective and sustainable manner. She is well experienced and has a good knowledge base in her subject and is more than willing to share her expertise and provide guidance where it is required. Support against Sexual Harassment to workplaces: • Assisting the workplaces in developing a robust governance model for the implementation of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act and Rules, 2013. • Drafting of a comprehensive Sexual Harassment Policy for the Workplaces. • Conducting awareness programmes for employers/employees on the provisions and scope of the PoSH Act/SHWW (PPR) Act 2013. • Conducting orientation programmes for the members of the Internal Committee (IC). • Attend regular monthly/quarterly meetings as an external NGO member in the Internal Committee (IC). • Assist the Internal Committee (IC) in conducting the Inquiry proceeding if/when there is a Sexual Harassment Complaint.
