  I applied for ACSIR Ph.D. program, got admission in CSIR-IMTech and completed my Pre Ph.D. coursework with rigorous research program. Currently working on two projects, along with Sr. Scientist Dipak Dutta, we are trying to decode the parasitic behaviour of plasmid in the events of replication-transcription conflict in E. Coli and determination of rho dependent terminators upstream of various genes. I learned radioactivity based In vitro replication and transcription assay, cloning, protein purification western blotting and other molecular and microbiological techniques. Learned fundamental skills of data handling, report writing, presentation and biological softwares during my Ph.D. coursework. Taught school students via in campus Science outreach program “Jigyasa”, one of the social works I like at my institute. Show less
