Extensive Aquatic teaching background; proficient customer service skills; exceptional ability to resolve conflicts; good time management skills; strong administrative skills and business plan and sales experienceI’m was an Aquatics Team Leader within the City of Monash, which host three Aquatic centres that provides a wide range of services and programs for all abilities. In this role I help lead the Aquatic teams efforts , by overseeing the team of 101 Learn to Swim instructors who are the faces of our Swimming and Schools program. The aim of our program is to aid participants of all ages on the importance of water safety and provide them with the skills and knowledge required in a water setting.One of the most exciting pieces of work that iv been involved in was being part of the creation of a social media and online video that was part of a water safety week campaign hosted by Aquatics & Recreation Victoria. The 2014 Water Safety Competition generated enormous media awareness around Melbourne, which helped with the promotion of our centre and its facilities. Not only did we have fun showcasing our Water Safety message, but also we found it rewarding to see the result as winners.Before commencing my role as a Team Leader, I worked as a Learn to Swim Supervisor, Learn to Swim Instructor and a Membership Consultant. I was lucky enough to work with some amazing clients and gain the necessary experience for my role.I am extremely passionate about my work and I am always eager to connect with others in the Aquatics department to enhance my knowledge. While I enjoy the many different aspects of my job, my favorite part is working closely with the Aquatics Coordinator to understand her business ideas and objectives. As we go through the collaborative processes, the most enjoyable part is coming up with new ideas and achieving shared goals.
