To accomplish this, I conduct a literature review to get a general picture of the problem and the research accomplishments in this field. After finding the right data set, I analyzed the data and coded different models in Python. I reported on the status of research activities regularly to my supervisor and interpreted and summarized the research findings into reports and manuscripts for publications. During this time, we published a paper in a well-known conference proceeding, and three more journal papers are in process.

I was responsible to understand and analyze a huge database to derive insights about their operation and recommend actions for improvement. To do so, I wrote lots of complex queries to extract data from a SQL database. After cleaning and preprocessing the data and group meeting with the managers and employees, I visualized our findings, some pre-defined metrics, and KPIs to show and summarize the system performance and recommendations for improvement. Afterward, I deployed a set of ML models to predict the repair time of an item and came up with the idea of using association rules for the task assignment. Working with a company was a great experience for me to improve my skills and employ them in a real-world problem. Besides improving my technical skills, it was a precious experience for me to enhance my soft skills, like team working, communication, and critical thinking.
