      Nycom has given me in-depth experience of IT support areas. Server and computer software/hardware. My main role is 2nd and 3rd line support, to support current customers by maintaining their business IT infrastructure. This involves on-site visits, monthly maintenance visits, remote support (VPN) to resolve any hardware and software problems. Daily server event checks to prevent business downtime. For new customers I assemble, configure and supply Servers (starting with Windows Server 2003 up to Windows Server 2016 covering all versions of Exchange, Small Business Servers) and workstations (assembling and promoting to domains new workstations with various operating systems from Windows XP to Windows 10), together with installation of new network cables internal and external from socket to patch panels. Another part of my role is to setup and maintain the backup solutions for a verity of clients. Using Symantec Backup Exec and Connect Online Backup Solution both are essential responsibilities as client data depends on this.
