  • Fully responsible for pre-job planning and mobilization. Operating and maintaining a real-time computer-based data acquisition system, the advanced logging system which records all aspects of rig activity. • Supervision and coordination of all aspects of geological well site operations with contractors and the company to ensure that well objectives are achieved on time. • Send geological reports to the office each morning giving details of the drilling activities, lithologies encountered, assignment of stratigraphic tops, cutting description, hydrocarbon shows, gas analysis, correlations, MWD/LWD and directional drilling data etc. • Identification of lithostratigraphic boundaries, casing setting depths and core points.
