While working at SJSU’s career center, I worked closely with Sarah in her role as President of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) club. I was impressed by the activities that she led for her club's members, which included a very much sought after and largely attended career fair. In organizing those events, I made sure that we coordinated with her and her club to make sure efforts weren’t doubled on that front. Sarah is a great communicator who takes whatever role she is playing seriously and with passion; I knew that any email I had sent her, with any request I have had included, will be responded to and fulfilled in such a short notice. What set Sarah apart from the rest is the rich life/work and leadership experiences that she had at such a young age; she is not afraid to follow her passion, and she puts the experiences and skills that she learned along the way to good use in enriching whatever responsibilities she may be undertaking at the moment.
