• Project manager in overseeing the planning and delivery of 16 construction projects in a 2-year period, under budget of an estimated total of K4 million (approximately USD 240,000). Notable projects include construction of dormitories in Makeni transit center and Meheba refugee settlement. Construction of Interagency Offices, Bulking Center, Isolation Center and Major Market in Mantapala, and UNHCR Office block in Kawambwa.• Led collaboration with the community and various partners including the government in developing the 2020 to 2025 country shelter and WASH strategies from inception to completion within 6 months.• Initiated the use of Bill of Quantities, resulting in an improvement of the contract management process of construction works in the organization.• Co-ordinated the design and preparation of estimates for the construction of 6 solarized borehole water systems of capacity 20M3 liters each.• Collected and mapped all infrastructure in the settlement with coverage area of 8000 hectares using ArcGIS within 3-month period.• Lead the co-ordination of the technical unit of 10 partners in the implementation of WASH interventions in the settlement and host community. Notable projects include implementation of German Government funded Refugee WASH Project during 2019 to 2021 with UNICEF which involved drilling of 13 boreholes, construction of 1200 household and institutional facilities. Other works include the design and construction of the 3-kilometre lined drainage system.

Key achievements include successful completion of all civil works on the construction of the 150M3 fuel storage tank, driveway, and parking, step up transformer, cable trench, wall-fence, and the drainage network.• Coordinating of all quality assurance and control activities. Successfully supervised the batching of concrete as per the mix design and all concrete cubes taken to the lab for testing. Also, liaison with the geotechnical tests consultants to carry out required soil tests such as compaction using Troxler.• Supervised workforce of 25 employees on the construction of Mpika fuel depot and successfully completed all civil works for the administration block, guard room and 6400M2 concrete track parking area with drainages.
