I've had the distinct pleasure of not only hiring Kalina to her position at Safeway but also being her supervisor for a number of years. Both these experiences have allowed me to say quite categorically that Kalina is amongst the most exceptionally talented young women I've ever managed. Her first position on the team was as Manager of Architectural Services in which she quickly demonstrated her knowledge of Architecture and it's principles including the administration functions required to produce a complete program or project. Her ability to focus on tasks and dedicated research to produce the appropriate solutions to issues are one of her more striking capabilities. Kalina is adept at providing clear and concise written documentation much of which forms the foundation of Safeway's documentation today. It was this and her many other knowledgable attributes which led to a promotion in her current role as Director of Architectural Services a short few years later. It was without hesitation I promoted her as I believed Kalina had the ability and drive to succeed at another level. Her persistence to see the correct outcome of problems resolved to the benefit of all concerned is what makes Kalina a valuable asset to any company she may have served or could serve in the future. Kalina is a bright young talent who has the capacity to shoulder all responsibilities given to her. I've enjoyed the 5 years of managing such a wonderfully refreshing talent who has through sheer willpower and tenacity brought about great change to the organization she serves. I'm proud to not only know her as a colleague but also as a friend. Any organization looking for a dynamic, talented young women to fulfill a senior management position would be well advised to look no further than Kalina Kunert. I wish her every success in her future endeavours!
