  Kalie Matisek, she/her, has been the Clinical Director at Turning Point Foundation since 2016. She started with Turning Point as an MFT student volunteer in 2008. Since then, Kalie has advanced through many roles and programs as she earned her hours to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As the Clinical Director, Kalie is responsible for overall clinical training of staff and implementation of policy for existing and new Programs. TPF currently has 16 programs in Ventura County ranging from homeless services, shelter, transitional housing, permanent housing, licensed board and care homes, rehabilitation and wellness programs and supportive employment programs. Some examples of staff training and clinical supervision for these programs can include evidence-based practices, laws and ethics, certification for CPI Verbal Intervention, and clinical case management. Kalie also oversees the volunteer intern program consisting of graduate students and certificate program students for drug and alcohol counseling, therapy, and social work. As integral part of the Leadership Team, Kalie contributes to important strategic planning and decision making for program development and implementation of policies and procedures. Show less
